AEW could be introducing Trios Titles if Kenny Omega’s big tease on the Chris Jericho Cruise was any indication of things. It could be coming, but FTR doesn’t want it yet.
Fightful recently spoke with Harwood and Wheeler. It was noted that FTR said that they don’t want any Trios Titles right now. They equated it to “trying tot run before they could walk.”
They said that once AEW establishes their tag team division then that might be a good idea. Right now the AEW Trios Titles don’t have FTR’s vote.
It was also noted that if FTR needed a third man for their team Chris Jericho would be their pick. Le Champion is already doing his own thing with the Inner Circle so that’s not likely.
We’ll have to see if AEW does end up introducing Trios Titles eventually. They were supposed to debut on the next Jericho Cruise which has now been pushed back.
