Eva Marie is officially single after finalizing her divorce, but anyone expecting her to jump straight back into the dating scene might be waiting a while. The former WWE star admits she isn’t dating at all right now — mostly because she doesn’t even know what dating is supposed to look like for her anymore.
While speaking to TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Eva opened up about being single following the end of her marriage to Jonathan Coyle. After being married for roughly a decade, Eva joked that she isn’t even sure whether she still has any “game.”
“I’m single. I mean, I would say, what does dating look like? I don’t even know how to do that. It’s so weird. Because — I mean, I’m not dating, because I would say that I am, but what that would mean is I would have to go on a date. I don’t even know if I have game.”
Meeting somebody organically isn’t exactly straightforward for her either. Eva explained that she doesn’t drink, meaning heading to a bar for a cocktail and potentially meeting someone isn’t really part of her lifestyle. Dating apps aren’t helping her out either because she’s never actually used one. While Eva has heard some success stories, she’s also heard enough horror stories to make that world sound a little intimidating.
“I don’t drink, so I don’t go to bars to have a cocktail and meet up with somebody. The dating apps — I’ve never been on a dating app. I’ve heard horror stories on apps, but I’ve also heard good ones.”
Then there’s another reality Eva is thinking about now that she’s 42. She pointed out that many of the people she could potentially date at this stage of her life will probably already have children, adding another element she hasn’t had to navigate before.
“Plus, I’m 42, so anybody that I would date, the majority probably have children.”
Eva’s comments come after she revealed that her divorce was legally finalized in August 2025. She previously said she gave up more during the split than people probably realize, although she fought to keep Natalie Eva Marie as her legal name and eventually dropped her married surname.
For now, Eva doesn’t sound like she’s in any rush to figure the whole dating thing out. After spending around a decade married, being single at 42 has apparently dropped her into a completely different world — one involving dating apps, potentially dating other parents and the slightly terrifying question of whether she still has game.
Do you think Eva Marie should give dating apps a shot, or is she better off letting things happen naturally after her divorce? Let us know what you think in the comments.
