Both Conor McGregor and UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are hanging back in New York city, and the sound bytes from both parties seem to suggest that a formal announcement and the press conference to consummate the fight are due any time now.

Notably, Conor McGregor revealed that he’s close to a UFC return and that ‘this one [fight] is in Vegas’, only yesterday to TMZ.

In this climate, McGregor seems to be training hard in preparation for what many consider to be the hardest stylistic test he has ever faced in the Octagon. Predictably, however, the Irishman seems bullish about his chances, posting a post-training picture of himself and his BJJ coach Dillon Danis with the caption that reads ‘Your skill or your limbs’, in what appears to be a warning shot to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
