Kyle Fields isn’t done making fake Bret Hart complain about everyone in wrestling. Just days after sending “The Hitman” to Calgary Traffic School, Fields is back with another parody—this time imagining Bret Hart recording Cameo videos for fans.
Fields shared the latest parody on Instagram on September 22 under the title “Bret Hart on Cameo,” and it didn’t take long for Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, Cody Rhodes and several others to become the punchlines. The first Cameo starts exactly where you’d expect fake Bret Hart to begin—on the toilet, with yet another shot at Bill Goldberg.
“Oh I’ll have to apologize. I just got done taking a Bill Goldberg.”
From there, Fields turned a birthday greeting into another Shawn Michaels joke, claiming Macho Man Randy Savage once shoved a ridiculous number of Slim Jims somewhere they definitely didn’t belong.
“God you’re gonna be 45. That’s how many Slim Jims Macho Man shoved up Shawn’s a**hole one time in Albany. Then Vince walked in and was so upset he fired Randy, never brought him back.”
The Cody Rhodes segment went in a completely different direction. After hearing someone supposedly called Cody Rhodes a nerd, fake Bret defended him in the most absurd way possible.
“I heard you think Cody Rhodes is a nerd. If reading a comic book while having the honor of two Black goddesses fight over the honor of Russian-legsweeping your penis makes you a nerd, then sign me up for the AV Club.”
Fields also managed to squeeze Shawn Michaels into another birthday message while congratulating someone for performing in their first musical.
“Congratulations to Gene. You just got done with your first musical. You know Shawn Michaels is also gay.”
The final Cameo targeted Dean Malenko fans, with fake Bret somehow turning a birthday wish into another insult, claiming fans of Malenko are mentally handicapped.
“Eddie, I heard one of your favorites is Dean Malenko. That must mean you’re mentally handicapped… and happy birthday.”
This is just the latest installment in Fields’ long-running fake Bret Hart series, which has become a hit by turning almost any situation into an excuse for “Bret” to take shots at Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, Vince McMahon and just about anyone else who has crossed his path over the years.
No matter the setting, the formula never really changes. Whether fake Bret is teaching traffic school, shopping at a bookstore or recording Cameos, Fields somehow always finds a way to circle back to the same legendary wrestling grudges—and that’s exactly why fans keep coming back for more.
