Blake Monroe may have just revealed when WWE fans could finally see “The Glamour” officially arrive on SmackDown — and it sounds like she already has a specific city in mind.
While speaking to Marca, Monroe teased that the May 29 episode of SmackDown in Barcelona could be the night she makes her official blue brand debut. She pointed out that WWE is heading to Spain, and since she is European, Barcelona might be the perfect place for her first appearance.
“WWE is coming to Spain, and Blake Monroe is coming to Spain, and I haven't even debuted yet. Maybe Barcelona is the right place. I'm European, and Barcelona is a beautiful place, as are its people, and maybe you'll witness the historic moment of ‘The Glamour's’ SmackDown debut, maybe.”
Monroe then turned the tease into a reason for fans to buy tickets, saying that names like Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes may be advertised, but “The Glamour” could end up being part of the show too.
“That's a good reason to buy a ticket. Yes, Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes and people like that will also be there, but ‘The Glamour’ might actually be there.”
That lines up with recent reports that Monroe is expected to debut on SmackDown before the end of May. WWE has already aired a vignette for “The Glamour,” and the company appears to be building toward her arrival rather than quietly adding her to the roster.
It was also reported that Monroe could be placed directly into the mid-card title scene once she arrives, which would put her near the WWE Women’s United States Championship picture. That would make her debut more than just a simple introduction.
For now, Monroe has not officially confirmed Barcelona as the debut location, but she clearly wants people watching the May 29 SmackDown closely. If her tease pays off, fans in Spain may witness the first official SmackDown appearance of “The Glamour.”
