Becky Lynch just turned her night as a crooked referee into another excuse to come after Jessika Carr. After refusing to count three for Liv Morgan in Chile and helping Stephanie Vaquer walk away with the WWE Women’s World Championship, Lynch jumped on Twitter and dragged Carr right back into a beef that has been going for nearly a year.
Vaquer defeated Morgan to win the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE’s September 12 live event in Santiago, Chile, with Lynch serving as special guest referee. Liv appeared to have the match won after hitting Oblivion, but Becky stopped her count at two after Morgan had shoved her earlier in the match.
Becky made sure Liv knew exactly what was happening too, giving her the middle finger before Vaquer eventually capitalized and took the championship. Lynch later celebrated what she had done, but she wasn’t satisfied with just taking a shot at Morgan. She decided Jessika Carr needed to hear about her refereeing skills too.

That shot has plenty of history behind it. Becky’s problems with Carr became very public in October 2025 after Lynch blamed the referee for several matches that hadn’t gone her way. Carr eventually had enough and fired back at Lynch over her constant excuses, pointing out that Becky had been tapping out, getting counted out and getting herself disqualified before questioning how Carr was somehow the problem.
Things only got worse after Becky lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri in November. Lynch released footage she claimed proved Carr failed to properly count Dupri out and accused the referee of being corrupt and suspicious while insisting she had been robbed.
Becky kept the Carr obsession going from there. During Saturday Night’s Main Event in May, Lynch actually pulled Carr directly into the path of Sol Ruca’s Sol Snatcher, causing the referee to get wiped out. Carr called for the bell and awarded Ruca the match by disqualification, which also earned Ruca a Women’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity. Instead of accepting that she had caused the whole mess herself, Lynch once again blamed Carr and continued pushing the idea that WWE officiating was working against her.
That makes Becky’s latest post after Chile even more ridiculous in the best possible way. She has spent months accusing Carr of being crooked whenever a decision doesn’t go her way, but once Becky got the referee shirt herself, she deliberately refused to count a legitimate pin because Liv Morgan pissed her off — and then bragged that Carr could learn something from her.
Vaquer got the championship, Liv got screwed out of what looked like a winning pin, and Jessika Carr somehow got pulled back into the situation without even being in Chile. Becky didn’t just abuse her power as referee — she used it to take another victory lap in her never-ending crusade against “Corrupt Carr.”
