Bayley’s WWE future may no longer be in question. A new claim says people within WWE believe the former women’s champion has already re-signed with the company—and her future could involve more than simply appearing on television.
According to False Finish, a source indicated that the belief within WWE is that Bayley has already signed a new deal. The source also indicated that Bayley is expected to become more involved with the company beyond her role as an on-screen talent. No details were provided regarding what that additional involvement could include, and neither WWE nor Bayley has publicly confirmed a new contract.
The development comes after weeks of questions surrounding Bayley’s status. Earlier in August, there were conflicting signs about how much time remained on her WWE deal, with speculation that her contract situation could potentially stretch into early 2027 depending on additional time being added. More recently, everything has started pointing toward Bayley remaining with WWE.
As noted earlier, that WWE has been discussing creative ideas for Bayley’s return to the Raw brand, with the former champion expected back on television within the next few weeks.
Bayley has been absent from WWE television since losing to Lyra Valkyria on the July 18 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Valkyria attacked her after the match, giving WWE a reason to remove Bayley from television. Bayley later wrestled at a July 26 live event in Bakersfield, California, but has not appeared on WWE programming since.
There were already clues that WWE wasn’t moving on from Bayley. Her name continued popping up on Raw during her absence, something Dave Meltzer previously pointed to as an indication that the company expected her back.
“As far as Bayley goes, the frequent mentions of her on Raw this week would indicate to me that they expect her back. If they believed she might be leaving, they would not mention her name.”
With creative pitches now being discussed and False Finish saying those within WWE believe Bayley has already re-signed, the questions surrounding her future may finally be getting some answers.
The most interesting part of the latest information may be the suggestion that WWE wants Bayley involved beyond simply being an on-screen performer. What exactly that means remains unclear, but it could give the longtime WWE star an expanded presence within the company moving forward.
