Bayley may have just dropped her clearest hint yet that a WWE return is getting closer. After weeks of uncertainty surrounding her future, she publicly told RAW General Manager Adam Pearce that the two need to talk—and Pearce was more than willing to keep the door open.
The exchange came underneath Bayley’s Instagram post celebrating 10 years since her RAW debut. Bayley marked the anniversary by looking back at everything she has experienced across WWE’s main roster.
Pearce showed his appreciation for Bayley in the comments, which led to a considerably more interesting response from the former WWE Women’s Champion, as she told Pearce: “Hey let’s talk.” Pearce didn’t leave her hanging, as he said, “You know where to find me.”
That’s going to stand out considering Bayley has been missing from WWE television while questions continue to surround her contract status. She hasn’t appeared since losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event, with Valkyria later claiming that she had “run Bayley out of here.”
There have already been signs that WWE isn’t exactly trying to make fans forget about her. Bayley’s name was repeatedly mentioned on RAW this past week, something Dave Meltzer recently pointed to as an indication that WWE expects her back.
“As far as Bayley goes, the frequent mentions of her on Raw this week would indicate to me that they expect her back. If they believed she might be leaving, they would not mention her name.”
Bayley still hasn’t announced a new deal or confirmed when she’ll be back, but publicly telling the RAW General Manager “let’s talk” certainly isn’t going to stop the speculation. After weeks of questions about whether she will return at all, Bayley is now openly hinting at a conversation with the man running Monday Night RAW.
