Bayley just gave fans another reason to wonder whether AEW could be somewhere in her future, as her WWE future remains uncertain.
With questions already swirling around her WWE status, Bayley uploaded a training video on Instagram with a caption and song choice that looked awfully familiar to anyone following Tony Khan’s promotion.
The video showed Bayley training inside the ring alongside several wrestlers, including AJ Lee and Mercedes Moné. That alone would’ve gotten some attention, but it was what Bayley attached to the footage that really stood out.
“all or nothing, baby”
Then there was the song. Bayley used a track called “All In”—the exact name of one of AEW’s biggest pay-per-view events. Her “all or nothing” caption also isn’t far removed from Double or Nothing, another major event on AEW’s calendar. That’s quite a combination to drop while everyone is already trying to figure out whether she’s staying with WWE.
There is no confirmation Bayley intended either choice as an AEW reference. The caption could be completely innocent, the song could simply fit the video, or Bayley could know exactly what wrestling fans would do with both and be stirring the pot.
The timing certainly isn’t helping calm anything down. Questions about Bayley’s WWE future increased after Lyra Valkyria defeated her at Saturday Night’s Main Event and then planted her with a Nightwing onto the steel steps. Valkyria followed that up on RAW by declaring that she had “run Bayley out of here,” while people backstage had discussed the possibility that the match could have been Bayley’s final appearance at Madison Square Garden.
Bayley was then quietly removed from WWE’s advertised SummerSlam Prospect Tryout VIP Experience, with Ivy Nile taking her place without any explanation from the company.
Now she’s posting “all or nothing” while “All In” plays over her training footage. Maybe Bayley isn’t trying to tell anyone anything. If she is just trolling everyone trying to solve her WWE future, though, she certainly picked the right words to do it.
