Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri have social media talking again. A new Instagram video featuring WWE’s on-screen couple has fans questioning whether the two are getting a little too comfortable as their romance storyline continues.
The video, shared around this week’s Monday Night RAW, features Theory and Dupri wearing matching outfits while playing into their relationship as members of The Vision alongside Bron Breakker and Logan Paul. It comes after Dupri turned on Alpha Academy and the pair shared an on-screen kiss following a tag team victory back in July.
The clip itself is pretty simple. Theory carries Dupri on his shoulders with her legs draped over his neck as they lip-sync to a song before the video cuts to Dupri finishing the lyrics by herself. That was all it took for fans to start sounding off. One fan took to Twitter and made it clear they couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
“Why he got Maxxine spread open like that?!?! 😭🤣 #WWERAW”
Another admitted the video caught them completely off guard, saying, “opened up my IG and gasped….” Some fans immediately dragged Dupri’s real-life husband, wrestler Kam Hendrix, into the conversation.
“we gotta see if kam hendrix is a man or a mouse. AUSTIN THEORY AND MAXXINE DUPRI ARE WILDING RIGHT NOW 💀”
Others went even further, despite there being nothing to suggest the storyline has crossed over into real life, saying, “Over/under 6 months it comes out they fking wit each other lmfao.” Another fan questioned exactly what WWE is trying to accomplish with the pairing.
“Austin Theory & Maxxine Dupri… I really don’t know what WWE is trying to do with these two 😭 They’ve been acting way too comfortable with each other lately, both inside and outside the ring 💀 Something tells me this story is about to get REALLY messy 😭”
This isn’t the first time Theory and Dupri have gone viral. Last month, a post-match celebration had fans obsessing over Theory’s hand placement and debating whether the chemistry between the two had become a little too convincing.
For now, though, that’s all it is—fan speculation. Dupri is married to Kam Hendrix, Theory is engaged, and there’s nothing to suggest their relationship extends beyond the storyline WWE is telling on television.
