Anthony Bowens decided to have a little fun with his former tag team partner Max Caster for Halloween — and he didn’t half-ass the impression either.

Bowens took to Twitter on Halloween and uploaded a video of himself dressed up as Caster, complete with a fake mustache and microphone. But the costume was only part of it, because Bowens also started running through some of Caster’s most recognizable catchphrases and bits. The video kicked off with Bowens immediately slipping into Caster mode.

“Yo, listen!”

Bowens then got another guy involved and had him start chanting exactly what Caster would probably love to hear every time he walks into a building.

“Let’s go Max, you’re the best wrestler alive!”

That got Bowens dancing before he moved on to another part of the Caster experience — the five-minute open challenge. With the microphone still in hand, Bowens repeatedly announced that somebody needed to start the clock.

“Five minutes on the clock! Five minutes on the clock!”

And apparently the impression still wasn’t complete. Bowens eventually chased after another guy before trying to recreate another Caster interaction.

“Hey, back up — let me kiss your hand. Listen!”

The timing of Bowens dressing up as his former partner is certainly interesting considering everything that has happened with Caster lately. The two spent years together as The Acclaimed in AEW before going their separate ways, while Caster’s own wrestling career just hit another pretty massive bump.

Caster recently revealed that he’s stepping away from wrestling for an extended period following the controversy surrounding his brief TNA run. His appearance at Bound For Glory resulted in TNA cutting ties with him after his entrance rap referenced the bombing in Riyadh.

Bowens didn’t turn his Halloween video into some serious statement about Caster’s situation, though. He just threw on the mustache, grabbed the microphone and went ridiculously committed to playing his former partner for a night. Considering how much history those two have together, Bowens probably didn’t need much rehearsal to get the impression down.
