El Grande Americano has someone especially proud of him after leaving TripleManía 34 with the biggest prize in AAA. His girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, celebrated the new Mega Champion with a personal message about everything it took for him to reach this moment.
Bazarte took to Instagram following Americano’s championship win over Dominik Mysterio at TripleManía 34 Night Two. She made it clear that, in her eyes, he earned everything that came with the win.
“You deserve all the beautiful things in the world ✨ you earned by pulse everything you have and now you are MEGACAMPION 🏆 @elgrandeamericanowwe”
Americano certainly didn’t have an easy road to the championship. His No DQ match with Dominik quickly turned into chaos, with JD McDonagh, Rayo and Bravo Americano, Omos and Liv Morgan all becoming involved.
Dominik appeared to have every possible advantage and even used the AAA Mega Championship itself as a weapon. Americano survived it all and eventually caught Dominik with another running headbutt, but there was no referee available to count the pin.
That was when Dominik’s own father decided to handle the job. Rey Mysterio came running down in a referee shirt while still wearing a neck brace, slid into the ring and counted Dominik’s shoulders down for three. Americano was officially the new AAA Mega Champion, while Dominik could only watch his reign end with his father personally making the count.
For Bazarte, however, the night was about what her boyfriend had accomplished. After surviving one of the wildest matches of TripleManía weekend, Americano walked away with the AAA Mega Championship and a very proud girlfriend waiting to celebrate him.
