AEW is going all out for the April 29 episode of Dynamite as it will build towards the Double or Nothing pay-per-view. That’s why the company has booked a memorable lineup with big matches to keep fans engaged from start to finish.
Darby Allin’s reign faces one of its toughest challenges yet as he defends the AEW World Championship against Brody King. King and Allin have a ton of history, so it remains to be seen whether Allin will survive King somehow.
Kevin Knight puts the TNT Championship on the line against MJF in a bout that could shake up the mid-card picture, heading into Double or Nothing. MJF still has Darby Allin in his sights and him winning the TNT Title could be what finally gets him a shot at Allin’s AEW World Title, so we’ll have to see if MJF can win the TNT Title once and for all.
Kazuchika Okada defends the AEW International Championship against Ace Austin in a major opportunity for the challenger. Austin is trying to build momentum and beating the Rainmaker will definitely help with that in a massive way, so it remains to be seen who will win in the end.
The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Divine Dominion defends the title against Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will face off against Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta in tag team action.
Rush returns to action following a dominant showing on Collision. Finally, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor will be back in action now that Hayter has been cleared to compete again.
Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite features appearances from Darby Allin and more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss.
