AEW is taking its support for Rebel to another level, announcing an entire episode of Dynamite dedicated to the former AEW star following her ALS diagnosis.
AEW took to Twitter and revealed that the September 9 edition of Dynamite will officially be branded AEWRebelHeart, with the special event set to take place at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia. The company shared the announcement while explaining the meaning behind the special show.
“AEW is bringing you a special night of television this September: #AEWRebelHeart Dynamite, honoring AEW’s @RebelTanea, who was diagnosed with ALS in March 2026. #AEWRebelHeart: Dynamite will emanate from the @AkinsFordArena in Athens, GA, on Wednesday, September 9.”
The announcement marks the latest show of support from AEW since Rebel revealed earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with ALS. In June, the company launched its Rebel Heart merchandise collection, featuring a T-shirt and bracelet with 100% of the profits benefiting I AM ALS and Team Gleason, two organizations that support people affected by the disease.
AEW has also made sure Rebel’s presence has been felt on television. During Double or Nothing, multiple AEW stars wore red #RebelHeart wristbands throughout the event, while Mick Foley was also seen wearing one during his first-ever AEW appearance. Tony Schiavone paid tribute to Rebel on Collision, and Tony Khan later addressed her diagnosis during the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum.
Now, AEW is putting Rebel’s name on one of its flagship television shows, with AEWRebelHeart: Dynamite set to celebrate her and continue raising awareness for ALS in front of a national audience.
