Adriana Rizzo is officially back in the ring. After spending more than a year sidelined with a torn ACL and meniscus, the NXT talent returned to action at WWE’s July 24 live event in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Rizzo faced Myka Lockwood in her first match since wrestling Karmen Petrovic at WWE World in April 2025.
The 27-year-old suffered the knee injury during training at the WWE Performance Center in August 2025, putting her career on hold for nearly a year. She announced on June 25 that she had finally been cleared to compete again.
Rizzo first returned to television during the July 8 episode of WWE EVOLVE, where she worked as a ringside interviewer. That appearance led to questions about whether WWE was moving her into a broadcasting role, but her live event return confirms she is still working toward a full-time comeback inside the ring.
Her injury also kept her away while Tony D’Angelo’s NXT family fell apart on television, leaving Rizzo without the group she was tied to before going down. Rizzo has now cleared the biggest hurdle by completing her first match back. The next question is when WWE will put her back in the ring on television.
