AAA Confirms New General Manager Will Be Named At May 23 Mexico City Show

AAA is getting ready for a major leadership shake-up.

During the April 25 episode of Lucha Libre AAA, Marisela Peña Roldán made it clear that the promotion will soon have a b Orand-new General Manager — but fans will have to wait a little longer to find out who it is.

This development follows what happened on the April 18 episode, when Dorian Roldán approached his mother and asked to be officially named the General Manager of AAA. At the time, Marisela told him she needed more time to think about the decision.ne week later, she delivered an update that changed the situation entirely.

Instead of immediately naming Dorian to the role, Marisela announced that she will be searching for the right person over the next few weeks. The new General Manager is now scheduled to be revealed at AAA’s May 23 event in Mexico City.

She also made it clear that once the new General Manager is announced, the company will look very different moving forward, teasing major changes coming to AAA programming.

AAA joining the trend of on-screen authority figures puts it in line with several WWE brands that already feature General Managers, including:
