WWE brought RAW to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and the crowd’s energy was palpable throughout the arena. The September 9 episode focused on delivering action-packed storylines to keep fans engaged. As WWE’s transition to Netflix in 2025 approaches, the company continues to build momentum on the USA Network, ensuring every episode captures viewers’ attention. With this shift on the horizon, WWE is consistently offering content that keeps fans tuning in week after week.
This week’s episode of RAW featured a Street Fight between the Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross) and the American Made faction (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Chad Gable, and Ivy Nile). The match had been highly anticipated, as the Wyatt Sicks had been tormenting American Made for an extended period, nearly ending Chad Gable’s career in the process. Created from Bray Wyatt’s vision, the Wyatt Sicks are starting to make a lasting impact on WWE, and this bout was their opportunity to demonstrate their dominance.
The match kicked off RAW, which surprised many, but WWE wanted to start their season premiere with a bang. Nikki Cross immediately targeted Ivy Nile, and from that moment, chaos erupted. Weapons were scattered around the ring, and all eight Superstars were locked in a brutal battle. The Wyatt Sicks quickly gained control as Nikki Cross punished Ivy with a trash can while the male members of the faction took out their American Made counterparts. Nikki even took bumps on the announce table courtesy of Ivy Nile.
Rowan eventually went through a table after a double team attack, leaving him buried under a pile of weapons. The first hour of RAW was commercial-free, so the action continued non-stop. American Made managed to focus on Dexter Lumis, but Lumis retaliated with a suplex and leg drop on Gable. Joe Gacy soon found himself on the receiving end of kendo stick shots from the Creed Brothers, but he fired back with a double clothesline to level the playing field.
The match escalated further when Rowan used a piece of barricade to lay out American Made after clearing the weapons off him. He then dominated the Creed Brothers in the ring, followed by Dexter Lumis diving off the turnbuckle through one of the Creed Brothers, who had been placed on a table. Joe Gacy and Chad Gable squared off, with Gable delivering an impressive Angle Slam from the top rope through a table, only for Gacy to kick out before the pin.
Chad Gable locked in an ankle lock, but Nikki Cross intervened with a German Suplex, drawing “Holy Sh*t” chants from the Canadian crowd. Uncle Howdy then made his presence known, nailing Gable with a Sister Abigail before Dexter Lumis delivered a top-rope leg drop for the win.
The street fight was a wild way to start the show, packed with intensity but never crossing the line of sports entertainment. As the Wyatt Sicks stood tall in the ring with flickering lights, it was clear that they are a force to be reckoned with.
