The May 24 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the go-home edition of the show before the King and Queen of The Ring premium live event. The semifinals of the Queen of The Ring tournament took place on the show and fans finally saw a definitive winner.

During the May 17th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Nia Jax defeated Jade Cargill by disqualification after The Irresistible Force harassed Jade Cargill’s daughter, leading to Cargill using a chair on Jax. Therefore, Jax was set to face Bianca Belair in the semifinals of the Queen of The Ring tournament on SmackDown this week.

As seen during the May 24 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Bianca Belair and Nia Jax gave their absolute best in order to advance to the finals of the Queen of The Ring tournament. When all was said and done, it was Nia Jax who ultimately picked up the win with a thunderous senton and Annihilator. After her win she cut a promo on Lyra Valkyria, as she declared she would become the Queen and Champion at SummerSlam after destroying Valkyria.

Nia Jax will now be squaring off against Lyra Valkyria in the finals of the Queen of The Ring tournament on May 25th, so we will have to wait and see who will ultimately triumph and get a shot at a Women’s title of their choosing.
