The fans in attendance for the May 17 Friday Night SmackDown witnessed an explosive bout between The Storm, Jade Cargill, and The Irresistible Force, Nia Jax in the quarterfinals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Jade Cargill had an impressive showing in the first round against an equally formidable opponent as Nia Jax, Piper Niven, and outlasted her in the process. While Jax defeated her own family member, Naomi to advance to the quarterfinals.

The two powerhouses collided in an explosive showdown on SmackDown that had the fans glued to their seats. The action went back and forth between the two SmackDown stars, but in the end, Jade Cargill got disqualified for using a steel chair on Nia Jax who had launched a verbal barrage toward her daughter at ringside.

Cargill was unleashed at the sight of that and continued the attack until security intervened to break things up. But due to her actions, Nia Jax eventually advanced in the tournament, leaving Cargill even more frustrated.
