Teddy Hart achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the youngest person to secure a developmental contract with WWE back in 1998. At that time, his future in the wrestling world seemed incredibly bright. However, a series of legal troubles have since cast a shadow over his reputation. Now the status of his arrest warrant has been revealed.
As previously reported by Ringside News on July 15th, Teddy Hart found himself facing multiple drug-related charges. His arrest took place in Brevard County, FL, and included allegations related to marijuana, steroids, and MDMA.
The incident occurred on July 14, 2023, around 11:09 PM when Officer Gonzales spotted Teddy speeding down Cheney Highway in a 2022 Ford Mustang, disregarding traffic signals. Teddy made an illegal left turn, prompting the officer to pull him over near 3500 Cheney Highway. Upon approaching the vehicle, Officer Gonzales detected the distinct odor of burning marijuana. The behavior of Teddy and his passenger, Brenda Shoun, raised suspicions, and the discovery of a partially concealed medical marijuana container in the glove compartment deepened concerns.
Officer Gonzales called for backup and requested Teddy and Brenda to exit the vehicle. Further suspicion arose when loose-leaf marijuana was found on Brenda’s seat. When asked about their medical marijuana cards, Teddy Hart claimed to possess one but had left it at home, while Brenda was evasive in her response. Determined to conduct a thorough search, Officer Gonzales uncovered more loose-leaf marijuana, testing positive for high-THC content. In a black glasses case, he also found red pills and powder, which Teddy described as his “proprietary blend of vitamins,” but subsequent testing confirmed it as MDMA.
The situation escalated when Officer Gonzales discovered a white fanny-pack containing Teddy’s American and Canadian passports, along with vials labeled “Masteron” and “Testosterone Cypionate,” both anabolic steroids. Despite Teddy’s assertion of having prescriptions for these substances, Officer Gonzales remained skeptical.
Further incriminating evidence emerged when additional MDMA, in blue powder form, was found in the fanny-pack, leading to Teddy’s arrest. During questioning at the Titusville Police Department, Teddy admitted that the substances were part of his “proprietary blend” of MDMA-C.
In addition to his drug-related charges, Teddy Hart was also cited for failing to stop at a steady red light, which initiated the initial traffic stop. On September 19th, Hart resolved this issue by paying a $283 traffic fine for the violation.
As previously reported, a bench warrant was issued against Teddy Hart after he failed to appear in court in Titusville, Florida, regarding his arrest on July 15, 2023.
The court date, listed as a mandatory appearance for “Early Resolution,” was intended to offer plea deals to those arrested to prevent felony trials. Despite several delays initiated by Hart’s side, the hearing proceeded as scheduled, but Hart failed to appear, resulting in the issuance of a bench warrant. Additionally, the court revoked Hart’s $2,000 bond.
According to a report by PWInsider, the arrest warrant on Teddy Hart has been officially rescinded.

Before his arrest, Teddy had recently made a return to the wrestling ring after a three-year absence. However, since facing legal troubles, he has refrained from stepping back into the ring. Clearly, he faces more pressing matters ahead, as a potential conviction could lead to a substantial prison sentence.
