Matt Hardy made headlines by making his presence felt on last night’s edition of Monday Night RAW after he was spotted to be in attendance for the show with his wife, Reby Sky, despite still being listed on their rivals’ roster, AEW. Now, details have emerged whether he was there on official business or just some leisure experience.

The former WWE tag team champion came to the PNC arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the sight of WWE’s flagship show last night, where he sat with his wife in a private suite box and enjoyed the festivities for half of the show.

Matt Hardy also met numerous fans who came up to his seating, clicked with him, and met the former ECW champion in a subtle meet-and-greet fashion that was not noticed on WWE television programming.

According to a new report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Matt Hardy did not have any meeting with WWE officials to discuss business-related matters amidst his AEW contract set to expire soon. He and Reby Sky were at the event for about 90 minutes at the invitation of his wife’s friend in their suite.

Despite the report stating that Hardy was not at RAW for any contract negotiations or official business, it could be a possible hint at where Matt wants to head next after his current contract deal with Tony Khan’s company comes to an end.
