The long-standing war between two of the biggest wrestling companies, WWE & AEW has been prevalent for years. Amidst their war, current AEW star Matt Hardy, who is still listed on their roster was spotted on tonight’s edition of RAW with his wife Reby Sky at the PNC arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

During the broadcast, Michael Cole referenced the legendary Hardy Boyz, Matt, and Jeff, recalling their iconic match at WrestleMania 25. This nod served as a segue to promote another highly anticipated brother-versus-brother match featuring Jimmy and Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40.

In a comedic interlude, Reby Hardy posted a montage of videos combined into one reel on her Instagram with an audio clip of Cardi B from Love and Hip Hop, humorously signaling that her feud with Michael Cole was far from resolved. Indeed, she made it abundantly clear that their rivalry would persist indefinitely.

For the unversed, the issues between Reby Hardy and Michael Cole date back to 2018, marked by Cole’s jabs targeting Reby’s father, Senor Benjamin both in real life and in the Hardyverse and a memorable instance where he referred to Reby’s son, Wolfgang, as ‘that bald kid.’

On the other hand, Matt Hardy, whose contract with AEW is nearing its conclusion, recently disclosed ongoing negotiations with the company. With Hardy being in attendance for tonight’s edition of RAW, all signs are pointing toward the former WWE tag team champion returning to the global juggernaut sooner rather than later.
