Shelton Benjamin is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, and fans largely felt he was never utilized to the best of his abilities there. Benjamin was released last year and now his first post-WWE release match has been confirmed.
The Gold Standard of WWE revealed that he was released during the September 2023 cuts, which shocked fans as he was with the company for such a long time. Fans then wondered what Benjamin would do next.
Prestige Wrestling took to their official Twitter account and announced that Shelton Benjamin will be squaring off against Josh Alexander at their Alive or Just Breathing event on May 16th, 2024. This marks Benjamin’s first match after his WWE release last year.
