John Cena has a brand-new championship bearing his name, and WWE has revealed exactly what it looks like. The 17-time World Champion unveiled the John Cena Classic Championship during the WWE RAW episode on November 2, 2026 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, giving the upcoming tournament its own title for the winner to take home.

Cena’s appearance began with a covered championship waiting in the ring. After making his entrance, he asked ring announcer Alicia Taylor to introduce him again before telling the sold-out Brooklyn crowd that he had three major announcements to make about the John Cena Classic.

The biggest moment came when Cena revealed the championship itself. The title features a black leather strap with a large gold center plate, Cena’s signature written across the middle, and an image of him performing his trademark salute. The word “CHAMPION” appears prominently along the bottom, while the entire design is covered in gold detailing.

Rather than using one of WWE’s existing championships, the company has created a title specifically for the John Cena Classic. That means whoever wins the tournament will walk away with a championship directly connected to Cena’s WWE legacy.

Cena explained that the tournament is deeply personal to him, especially with his name attached to the competition. He spoke about the importance of hustle, loyalty, and respect, the three principles that have defined his WWE career for years. He also emphasized that a championship should represent hard work and dedication.

The announcement wasn’t limited to the title reveal. Cena confirmed that the John Cena Classic will take place on December 14 at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He also mentioned upcoming RAW broadcasts from Perth and Disney World.

Another interesting detail involved Club WWE. Cena revealed that voting will play a role in the John Cena Classic, allowing the WWE audience to have a say in the tournament. Before wrapping up his announcements, Cena revealed the first participant invited to compete in the John Cena Classic: Cody Rhodes.

The new championship gives the John Cena Classic a prize of its own ahead of the December 14 event. With Cena’s image and signature featured directly on the title, WWE has made it clear that this tournament is meant to celebrate his career while giving another superstar an opportunity to earn a championship associated with his name.

What do you think about the design of the new John Cena Classic Championship? Is this a title you’d like to see WWE continue using after the tournament, or should it remain a one-time prize? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
