The pro wrestling world is full of controversy, and in today’s day and age, you never know when a skeleton may get dragged out of anyone’s closet. This recently happened for Matt Striker as he was trying to defend Matt Riddle.

Matt Riddle returned to MLW after his WWE release. The controversy around Riddle was not lost on MLW fans, and Matt Striker addressed it on commentary. Little did he expect that an old allegation came out about him in the meantime.

During Matt Riddle’s MLW return match against Jacob Fatu, Matt Striker had a lot to say about fans who don’t want to see Riddle on their television sets. He dismissed the court of public opinion in a big way.

“Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: The court of public opinion would like to see Jacob Fatu slap the taste out of Matt Riddle’s mouth. But the court of public opinion does not convict. I’m sorry, I know it’s the world in which we live, but it’s not the case.”

A fan on X named Kelsey then came forward to call out Matt Striker in a big way. She accused the pro wrestling announcer for trying to put his hands down her pants while they were at an indie wrestling show. She did not specify how many years ago this alleged event took place.

I once had to push striker off of me when he tried to put his hands down my jeans at an Indy show years ago because he was cool with one of my friends and thought that was enough of a go ahead. None of this remotely surprises me.

Kelsey’s post went viral, as it was shared all over, including Reddit. This was not received very well, and Matt Striker has not addressed the allegation.

We will keep our eye on this story, and so many more, in the pro wrestling world. You never know what will break next, but you never know what headline will pop up next.
