Zoe Stark’s WWE exit had her wondering if it was time to shut the door on wrestling completely. After dealing with a serious knee injury, a long road back and then the end of her run with WWE, Stark admitted she reached a point where she was questioning whether she still wanted to perform or if it was time to step away from the ring and move into something like coaching instead.

During an appearance on the Game Day Grace Podcast, Stark opened up about the uncertainty she faced while trying to figure out what she wanted the next chapter of her life to look like. She admitted that walking away from wrestling was absolutely something she considered.

“I’ve questioned this a lot of, do I stop wrestling? Like, is this a time where I just kind of find something else to do, become a coach or something, or do I continue on this performance path and doing it this way?”

Stark ultimately decided she wasn’t ready to call it quits. While leaning heavily on her faith during the decision, she said she kept getting the feeling that performing was still the direction she was supposed to take.

“I felt like he was telling me to continue down this path of performance and continue to go in this direction. For me, that was like just more of a really strong gut feeling. So I pray that that was him and I’m doing what he wants me to do.”

That decision has already put Stark back inside the ring. She recently returned to action after being sidelined for roughly a year and a half between her knee injury, recovery, WWE departure and the waiting period that followed.

Stark may have seriously considered leaving wrestling behind, but for now, retirement is off the table. She’s back competing and appears ready to find out how far this next run can take her outside WWE.

Do you think Zoe Stark made the right decision by continuing her wrestling career, or would you have liked to see her move into coaching? Let us know what you think and leave your feedback in the comments.
