Pro wrestlers give their all in the ring, and Hornswoggle entertained WWE fans for just under a decade. Now, he isn’t wrestling so much, but there is a good reason why.

During a discussion with Oh, You Didn’t Know, Hornswoggle, now going as his real name, Dylan Postl, revealed some troubling news about his physical status. His time in the ring came to a halt when he needed back surgery.

Dylan Postl said that he had major back surgery when he was a kid, and that paralyzed him. Then, in 2021, things took another bad turn when he needed back surgery again.

“Then in 2021, I took a shot and needed back surgery. Everything went completely numb, dead. I was like, ‘okay, I should probably get this looked at.’ No one wanted to do the surgery on me, because of my stature and my old surgeries.”

The doctor did a surgery on his spine, but it didn’t work. Instead, he lost all feeling from the legs up. He said his feet are numb, and his legs feel like they’re being pulled up. He had another surgery after that, but it didn’t fix his issues. That means his schedule in the pro wrestling ring is a bit limited.

Hornswoggle said that he can “still bite an ass and do a stunner,” so his in-ring career isn’t 100% over. He did nix the idea of going off the top rope for any tadpole splashes.

We will have to see if Hornswoggle ever gets back in a WWE ring. He has a ton of fans who would love to see him, but it appears his full-time wrestling days are over. You may check out his interview with Road Dogg below.
