Former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle was one of the mainstays of WWE television during the mid to late 2000s. Despite his short appearance, Hornswoggle is a proper veteran in the business. Now it appears that Hornswoggle is uncertain about ever returning to the ring.

Hornswoggle started his WWE from 2006 until his departure back in 2016. During that time, he has given fans numerous memorable moments and solid segments that fans will never forget.

Hornswoggle’s last appearance with a major company came in late 2020 when he defeated Ethan Page in Impact Wrestling. This was shortly before he made a cameo after making a cameo in AEW during the Inner Circle’s trip to Las Vegas.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Hornswoggle was asked whether there were plans for him to return to AEW in the future. Hornswoggle made it clear he was uncertain about ever returning to the ring.

“Not that I know of. I mean, I would love to, but in-ring, probably is behind me, if I’m being honest with myself after my second failed back surgery. It ain’t in the cards, I don’t believe in-ring for a major company.

But I truly believe the coaching stuff. And I’m finally like, grasping that whether I have more to give inside the ring compared to outside, and teaching and helping and that I’m okay with that. I can sign my fake name for the rest of my life. And I’m fully okay with that.”

Hornswoggle would also love to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. We will have to wait and see whether that will happen one day, as his in-ring career might be over for good now.
