CM Punk’s return to WWE got everyone talking. The video of his comeback went viral, and tons of reactions are coming in, even though some may be bit shady. It appears that not everyone is ecstatic about the Second City Savior’s return to the company.

Drew McIntyre was very upset after WWE Survivor Series, and he left right after the match. It was reported that McIntyre went back to the locker room, and he left very soon after that.

Dave Meltzer opened up about this during Wrestling Observer Radio, where he relayed what he was told about Drew McIntyre’s anger. It was said to him that the general belief within WWE is that Drew McIntyre was upset about CM Punk’s return.

“Yeah, he was very upset. As the night went on, he got less upset. As for the reason why he got upset, I don’t wanna give any wrong information, I’d say in a day or so I’ll know, but I will say within the company thought it was because of Punk. I cannot confirm that, but that’s what everyone in the company thought, but he was legitimately upset about something.”

The Scottish Warrior’s WWE contract is running up before WrestleMania next year, and a new deal hasn’t been signed. Only time will tell how this pans out, but McIntyre was upset for a reason.

For the record, Cody Rhodes spoke about CM Punk’s return to WWE, and the American Nightmare seemed open to letting Punk come back.
