Ric Flair is a bona fide legend, and he draws attention in any room he enters. At this stage in his career, he can look back at all the wild times he’s had, and he also knows that no cell phones were around to capture a vast majority of it. He is also very thankful of that fact.

Ric Flair recently stated his belief that social media is ruining pro wrestling. It seems that social media may have also ruined The Nature Boy if it was around during his heyday.

While speaking to the Breakfast Club, Ric Flair asked what would have happened if social media was around when The Nature Boy was doing his thing. He spoke about himself in the third person with his reply, but he was quite assertive in his point.

“Well he’d be in jail, we’d be conducting this interview from Rikers Island. Hello Ric, are you still in Rikers? Would you mind joining the Breakfast club?”, Flair joked. ‘It’s the truth though, young Ric Flair.”

Ric Flair’s past is full of championship titles, but it was also filled with controversy. In recent memory, The Nature Boy’s behavior on the Plane Ride from Hell popped up during Dark Side of the Ring episode, and it almost caused his cancellation.

Ric Flair’s career in the ring may be over, but that was his call as well. He had his final match in front of a packed house as he got the main event match one last time. There were plenty of fans documenting that moment on social media, but Ric Flair is probably okay with that.
