WWE NXT Tag Team Officially Gone From Company

WWE is going through lot of changes when it comes to their corporate side. Frank Riddick isn’t the only departure from the company, because two Superstars are also no longer with WWE at this point.

WWE NXT included an interesting segment with Joey Gacy and Ava. It was just the two of them, without the Dyad. The final shot of the promo saw Gacy and Ava place their hands on a tree together, and they were the only two around.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that The Dyad are gone. Their contracts expired, and they have just vanished without any storyline explanation.

“Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid are gone. Their contract is up. I thought there was gonna be some kind of angle or something, but they’re gone.”

The former Grizzled Young Veterans already made it clear that they were leaving WWE when their contract were up. They actually tried to get their releases months ago, but they were denied.

Now, it appears the Schism will continue with just Joe Gacy and Ava for now. In the end, that might work out for the best, because Gacy and Ava had an idea for cult gimmick even prior to his WWE NXT debut.
