CM Punk is now a free agent, and it appears he might show up in another company if things work out. Although his options might be limited, there is still interest in the Second City Savior in TNA.

WWE’s top talent also made it very clear that they don’t want to see CM Punk back in the company. This sentiment was known the moment news broke that AEW fired him. Apparently, the door is not closed everywhere.

PW Insider noted that Impact Wrestling is very excited about the idea of having CM Punk come in and work for them. That being said, it is something that could be a long-term option for them.

Among other promotions, we have heard that Impact Wrestling was super excited about the idea of Punk potentially working there but I don’t know that realistically, that would be a long-term option.

Only time will tell if Impact Wrestling signs CM Punk to a deal. It would take a lot of money, but Punk might find the ability to get certain freedom with Impact Wrestling. Some might view it as a demotion, but there is a lot that Punk could do on that roster.

AEW doesn’t want CM Punk anymore, and ROH isn’t an option since Tony Khan bought that company. Perhaps Impact Wrestling will be his promised land. After all, they didn’t kick him out when he visited backstage, and he even played cards with some talent.
