Hikaru Shida was one of the top stars in the women’s division in AEW and is one of the most talented female pro wrestlers in the world right now. She was the AEW Women’s Champion for well over a year after beating Nyla Rose for the title at Double or Nothing 2020. She is now the AEW Women’s Champion again, but that might not last for long.

The Japanese star squared off against Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship on a previous week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Shida would go on to defeat Storm and become the new champion.

She will be defending the title against Saraya, Toni Storm and Britt Baker in fatal four-way match at AEW All In. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Saraya, Toni Storm or Britt Baker have a good chance of winning the title.

The argument for Baker winning the championship is that she was the first female wrestler signed to the company and hasn’t been in the title scene for a long time, thereby making fans happy with a win. While Saraya winning could happen as well, the risk of injury lowered her chances. That said, Toni Storm winning is also very likely just to make fans happy.

Therefore, Hikaru Shida’s chances of walking out of AEW All In as the champion are slim. We will have to wait and see who will end up becoming the champion in London on August 27th.
