Hikaru Shida lost the AEW Women’s Title to Britt Baker at Double or Nothing. That was a high profile match that many fans wanted to see. The next time Shida appears she will be rocking a new look.

Shida posted on Instagram to reveal that recent teases about changing up her look were legit. She chopped off a lot of her hair, but that also gave her a serious demeanor as well.

“New Shida is here,” she posted as a caption followed by a request not to use her new photo in any way without getting permission first. “Don’t use this pic for your profile etc. without editing for making clear it’s me.”

Nyla Rose was the first to step up to Britt Baker. She ruined her Big Mac celebration on AEW Dynamite last week. We can probably expect that Hikaru Shida will get a rematch sooner or later.

Hikaru Shida is now determined to reach the top of AEW’s women’s division once again. She has a big obstacle in her way in the form of AEW’s resident dentist. Britt Baker obviously isn’t going to let that title go without one incredible fight.

How long will Britt Baker keep the AEW Women’s Title? Sound off in the comments!
