AEW Dynamite’s 200th episode closed out this week with a big championship match between Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida. They made a point to say that Hiakru Shida meant a lot to AEW during the pandemic, and this week’s episode paid homage to a lot of AEW history.

Hikaru Shida had to battle the outcasts, as well as Toni Storm this week in the main event match. After a back and forth contest, she pilled Toni Storm with a roll-up and got the win.

Hikaru Shida only defended her AEW Women’s Title at Daily’s Place, but this time will she get to travel the world as champion. This was an emotional moment as AEW crowned a new Women’s World Champion.

We will have to see what AEW does with Toni Storm. She lost clean, and after trying some heel tactics, but she still might want another crack at her championship. If anything, this certainly left AEW Dynamite’s 200th’ episode off with a very high note.
