The Wrestling Observer Newslettter dropped a note about Roman Reigns’ status. It was said that the thought is that Roman Reigns either suffered a hip or a back injury. This took place about five minutes into the match as well.

Reigns suffered either a hip or back injury from the tope from Jey Uso about five minutes into his main event match. You could see the way he moved and walked that he was in pain, but to his credit, unless you were looking for it you probably didn’t see it.

Roman Reigns was supposed to take part in the press conference, but he was pulled. Paul Heyman was also not happy about how Byron Saxton announced him, when it was thought that Roman would be there too.

We will keep a close eye on this situation, because Roman Reigns is obviously one of the biggest names that WWE has around right now. His health can help determine a lot of business in the future, but WWE’s creative plans are not expected to change due to this injury.
