Hikaru Shida was one of the top stars in the women’s division in AEW and is one of the most talented female pro wrestlers in the world right now. She was the AEW Women’s Champion for well over a year after beating Nyla Rose for the title at Double or Nothing 2020. She is now the AEW Women’s Champion again and finally broke her silence after her massive win.

Hikaru Shida lost the AEW Women’s World Championship to Britt Baker at Double Or Nothing 2021. After that, she went back to Japan for a while and then came back to AEW television.

The Japanese star squared off against Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Shida would go on to defeat Storm and become the new champion.

The Japanese superstar took to Twitter and finally commented on her huge win and made it clear this was a team effort thanks to all the support fans gave her.
