Candice Michelle Confronted Melina Over Real-Life Drama

During the mid-2000s, Candice Michelle was a prominent figure in the women’s division and a well-respected champion. She gained a lot of admiration from fans during her tenure with the company, and her popularity was well-deserved. While she was loved by many, Melina wasn’t one of them. In fact, it appears Candice Michelle and Melina had a confrontation with each other over their real-life drama.

On the other hand, Melina played a vital role in the women’s division during the mid-2000s, when the era of Lita and Trish Stratus was coming to a close. Alongside talented performers such as Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and Mickie James, Melina helped lead the division during a time when female wrestlers did not have the same opportunities as they do today.

In 2007, Melina and Candice Michelle feuded on Monday Night RAW, which led to Michelle defeating Melina to win the WWE Women’s Championship at Vengeance: Night of Champions in September of that year.

While speaking to Steve Fall on Ten Count, Candice Michelle revealed her recent confrontation with Melina, which brought up a conversation about their actual heat. Michelle then revealed that the two are on better terms now.

“I did an appearance with her [Melina] and by the way, things have been great until I walked into this appearance and she was like really upset with me. She was like I hear you telling people I was hard to work with and I was like where was this coming from? This happened years ago and we are cool with each other, right?

She was really hot with me and she was blaming me and I looked at her and said you were hard to work with like do you not remember? We were not friends, we made it work because we weren’t friends. That was just coming up recently cause your podcast got a lot of attention and people thought they’re fighting now and no we’re not actually fighting now.”

Melina also didn’t want to drop the WWE Women’s Championship to Candice Michelle. Michelle also almost had real-life fight with Melina during a WWE house show. Regardless, the two are on better terms now and that’s all that matters.
