The mystery attackers terrorizing TNA have finally been exposed — and the reveal brought two former Wyatt Sicks members through the door. During the TNA iMPACT episode of September 24, 2026, Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw, formerly known in WWE as Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis, made their TNA arrival and left The Hardys laying.
Matt and Jeff Hardy came to the ring after weeks of unexplained backstage attacks throughout TNA. Matt said the fun was over and demanded that whoever was responsible finally show themselves, while Jeff made it clear that his patience had completely run out. They got their answer, but not exactly on their terms. Static suddenly took over the video screen, the arena lights began flickering and eventually went completely dark.
When the lights came back on, two hooded men were already in the ring behind The Hardys. They jumped Matt and Jeff from behind before revealing themselves as Sawyer and Shaw.
Then came the other huge clue. The word “Syx” appeared across the video screen above the stage as Sawyer and Shaw stood over the damage they had caused. TNA didn’t spell out exactly what “Syx” means yet, but the presentation made it clear this wasn’t simply two guys showing up for a random attack.
The reveal comes after TNA had already been linked to multiple former members of the Wyatt Sicks. The group had been gone from WWE since April, and previous reports indicated TNA had serious interest in bringing multiple members into the company, with Sawyer and Shaw among the names specifically mentioned.
Now at least two of those names aren’t hypothetical anymore. Sawyer and Shaw are officially on TNA television, they’re behind the mystery attacks, and “Syx” appears to be the next piece of whatever TNA is building around them.
The Hardys wanted answers, and they definitely got them. Now the question is whether Sawyer and Shaw are operating alone — or whether “Syx” is a warning that more familiar faces could still be coming.
