According to BWE, Dominik Mysterio will put that new title to use tonight on SmackDown. The proven WWE insider noted behind his private Tweitter account that Dirty Dom will defend the North American Title tonight on SmackDown.

Dominik Mysterio’s opponent was not mentioned in the report, so there could be options there. If anything, the company wants to get a few successful title defenses out of Mysterio, so they can make him look like a strong champion.

Only time will tell how NXT books the North American Title match at the Great American Bash. After all, Mustafa Ali was really wanting to face Wes Lee in singles action. Now, Dominik Mysterio is very much a part of that title picture.
