Dominik Mysterio made sure his WrestleMania 42 entrance felt larger than life, and now new details reveal that the masked figures who walked out with him weren’t just extras — they were real luchadores.
During WrestleMania 42 Night Two at Allegiant Stadium, Dominik Mysterio entered his Street Fight against Finn Bálor in unforgettable fashion. He rode out on a massive throne fit for someone calling himself the “King of the Luchadores,” surrounded by masked performers that instantly caught fans’ attention.
Those masked figures were not random performers. According to Bodyslam, WWE used several Mexican independent wrestlers to help create Dominik’s dramatic entrance. Names reportedly involved in the entrance included Gravity, Rayo Star, Anubis, Mexa Boys (Noisy Boy and Spider Fly), Calibus, Diablo Azteca, Skalibur, and Enigma, who has also been referred to as “The King” Rey Mysterio.
The entrance helped set the stage for a chaotic Street Fight between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Bálor’s Demon persona. The match quickly turned violent, with chairs filling the ring, multiple table spots, and several near falls before Bálor finally secured the victory with a Coup De Grace through a table.
Dominik Mysterio has continued leaning into his over-the-top persona, and bringing in real luchadores to support his throne entrance shows how much effort went into making his WrestleMania moment stand out on one of WWE’s biggest nights.
Did Dominik Mysterio’s throne entrance stand out as one of the best moments from WrestleMania 42 Night Two, or did The Demon’s return steal the show instead? Drop your thoughts and let us know what you think.
