The Usos are on top of their game, and it’s hard to picture anyone topping them at this point. If you ask Bubba Ray Dudley, there is no comparing Riskishi’s twins to other teams in pro wrestling history.
Bully Ray is praising Jimmy and Jey Uso. During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully passionately argued that the former Bloodline members are currently experiencing a historic run, setting them apart from legendary WWE teams of the past, including The Dudley Boyz.
According to Bully Ray, the Bloodline narrative wouldn’t have the same impact without the Uso twins, emphasizing their significance as the only traditional tag team to have ever main-evented a WrestleMania.
As far as Bully Ray sees it, The Usos rank above other iconic teams like the Road Warriors, the Hardys, Edge and Christian, who never achieved such a feat. Bully further emphasized that even The Dudleys, who are renowned for their tag team legacy, never reached the status of main-eventing a WrestleMania.
“It’s not even a thought for me anymore,” Bully explained, “to me [the best tag team in WWE history is] The Usos and the reason is because when you look at the numbers of what The Usos have accomplished, I don’t think any other team can stake their claim. The most decorated teams of all time in the WWE, Hardys, New Day, Dudleys … we can look at the amount of times a team has won a championship and that’s kinda apples to apples. We can look at what kind of matches or memorable matches teams have had, all this stuff and everything is a bit of a wash when it comes to the upper-echelon of teams in the WWE. The Usos are involved in an A-storyline, that is generating major money for the WWE.”
“To me, Jimmy and Jey Uso, greatest tag team in the WWE and they’re not even close to calling it quits.”
The Usos aren’t done yet, and they could have a long run ahead of them too. Only time will tell if the Bloodline saga sees the Usos split up and do their own thing on the singles division, but they have certainly accomplished enough as a tag team to warrant a WWE Hall of Fame induction.
