During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the oddsmakers actually flipped the numbers for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match late in the game. It appears that someone in WWE tipped them off, because there was a sudden change before the event.

“The odds went from like 100 to 1 in one direction and then 110 to 1 in the other direction in like one day. Somebody tipped someone off, and since all the money was coming in on Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler as the favorite, they had to change those odds, because people were betting on the underdog, because the odds were so strong in one direction, and then all of a sudden they find out the underdog’s gonna win.”

Although SummerSlam hasn’t been confirmed as Ronda Rousey’s final match with WWE this time around, it is a possibility. If that goes down with match against Shayna Baszler, you shouldn’t be too surprised.
