Ronda Rousey just came back from a little injury hiatus, and it seems that they rushed her through an angle with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, which ended with Shayna Baszler turning on her at Money in the Bank. Now, it appears that there could a lot more in store before the Baddest Woman on the Planet leaves again.

We previously reported that Ronda Rousey gave WWE “hard date” that she can’t continue with them. It seems that she will be leaving sooner than later, but you can never count out the possibility for an eventual return.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoked on Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler’s situation. Although SummerSlam wasn’t outright said to be the event where their match will go down, it’s certainly a possibility. That might also be Rousey’s final match.

“This was always the plan… The thing was that I was saying Ronda and Shayna were winning the tag team titles, and then Ronda got hurt. The thing is that I don’t know the date and it might be Summer Slam, it might be a little bit after. But the deal is Ronda has a hard-out, you know, I mean she gave a date, “This is my last date,” because I remember talking to somebody there and it’s like, well, you know, I know they’re gonna do this.”

“It’s like, I guess make the big match for WrestleMania. And it’s like, no, it’s like her hard-out is long. They didn’t give me the date, but it’s like, it’s long before WrestleMania. So the point is, is that whatever it is that they’re planning to do. They’ve always, the whole tag team was to set up Ronda and Shayna doing a feud. Ronda wanted to do this feed with Shayna. She got what she wanted. She’s always wanted to do it because Shayna’s the one who got her basically into pro wrestling. You know, Ronda was someone who watched it and sort of knew a little bit about it, but not, she wasn’t like a big pro wrestling fan.”

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have always wanted to have a match with each other. They brushed past each other during the Royal Rumble before, but now it seems that they will finally collide.

Shayna Baszler could be Ronda Rousey’s final opponent in WWE, because she could be on her way out. We will have to see what happens, because anything can change in WWE.

Ronda Rousey brought a lot of attention to WWE, and she accomplished a ton of things, but is she a future WWE Hall of Famer? Sound off in the comments!
