During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Cody Rhodes said during the press conference after Money in the Bank that Roman Reigns’ title is a new story for him. That being said, it appears that WWE is planning to run Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania once again.

“His storyline is that the belt that his father didn’t win – which is apparently Roman’s belt – that’s the one that’s the story.

“So basically, he almost has said it’s next year’s WrestleMania, which is the plan right now.”

Cody Rhodes lost at WrestleMania, and he ended up with a rubber chicken next to him in the ring. That was a sad moment for his fans, but it appears that he will have an opportunity to make things right.

We will have to see where WWE takes the Bloodline’s saga from this point. Roman Reigns might always start that hiatus we’ve been hearing about. If anything, he will continue as a part-time champion until someone dethrones him.

Cody Rhodes never won the top title in AEW, and even shut himself out creatively from getting that belt. Do you think he will get the big one in WWE? Sound off in the comments!
