Randy Orton has been out of action for over a year now, and WWE fans miss seeing him in the ring. The Viper is still recovering after a back fusion surgery, and that hiatus is still going on to this day.

Ringside News exclusively reported that, “Randy Orton did not have a heart attack. Randy Orton has a return date in the future, it’s not this summer, but it is in this calendar year.” That time away from the ring for Orton is planned to end, but it won’t happen this weekend.

A tenured source on the WWE creative team confirmed to us that, “Randy Orton is not returning at MITB”. It was also noted that “if anyone says ‘may return,’ that is pure clickbait.”

A source also noted that, “everyone internally knows his timetable, and this is not it.” At this time, Randy Orton’s return is in the pipeline, but it will be a bit of a wait.

Randy Orton might return with a lot of momentum, and WWE knows when that is going down. Only time will tell if fans will be surprised by his return, and how the company re-inserts him into the situation.
