Randy Orton hasn’t wrestled in a long time, and now the rumor mill is churning that his doctors have advised him against wrestling again. Even if he has to hang up his boots, Randy Orton won’t be anywhere near the poverty line.

Randy Orton’s tag team partner, Matt Riddle, made a return to WWE television after WrestleMania. Although there was some hope that RK-Bro might reunite, that hasn’t happened yet. It might also be a very long wait if that ever does come to pass.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer made a comment about Randy Orton’s income. He started that the Viper has made over $3 million a year for a long time now. So, he is financially able to do his own thing and not feel pressured to work.

“Look, Randy’s made, I’d say, three and a half, four million dollars a year for years and years and years! Before everyone’s salary was escalating when AEW started, Randy was making big money long before that. So, he should be set.”

$4 million a year is a lot of money, but there are others on the WWE roster who pull in more. That being said, a majority of the WWE roster pulls in a lot less than that, so Orton is certainly in the upper-tier of WWE’s pay scale.

Randy Orton might not wrestle again for a very long time, if ever at all. Even if he does have to hang his boots up for good, at least we know that he has made more than enough money so he will be financially stable.

What’s your take on Randy Orton’s WWE payday? Do you think he will ever wrestle again? Sound off in the comments!
