Randy Orton has been out of action since 2022, and he needed back fusion surgery. Although he was around for WrestleMania 39, The Viper did not appear on camera. Fans are starting to get worried, but WWE already has a plan in place.

Randy Orton’s tag team partner, Matt Riddle, returned to WWE on the RAW after WrestleMania. Sadly, an RK-Bro reunion was not part of those plans. Now, we are waiting to see what’s next for Riddle as Orton’s hiatus from WWE continues.

Randy Orton has made ton of money in WWE, so the thought was out there that The Viper doesn’t need to wrestle again. That being said, his home is in the ring, and there are plans for his return.

A tenured source in the company also confirmed to us that Randy Orton does, in fact, have a planned return date already. It was not noted when this will happen, but it won’t be the summer. That being said, fans should expect to see The Viper again this year.

Randy Orton did not have a heart attack. Randy Orton has a return date in the future, it’s not this summer but it is in this calendar year.

A back fusion surgery needs to be taken care of, because that is a very tricky part of the body when it comes to healing. Any little bump could throw things out of whack for Randy Orton, including an RKO outta nowhere.

We will continue monitoring this situation here at Ringside News. At least we know that there are no plans for Randy Orton to hang up his boots, because his WWE return is already booked for later this year.

What’s your take on Randy Orton’s WWE hiatus? Will you be excited to see him return? Sound off in the comments!
