WWE has a lot of plans in motion with the 2023 Draft in play. It seems that Bianca Belair getting drafted to SmackDown as RAW Women’s Champion might have more to that story.

WWE has historically traded championships during their Draft situations. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had quite a title exchange in the past, but that might not be the plan this year.

Xero news reached out to Boozer 666 on Twitter to confirm a plan for RAW tonight that was apparently on some production notes. The question concerned whether Bianca Belair is booked for an open challenge on this week’s show.

Boozer 666 replied to say that Bianca Belair’s open challenge segment was only a part of the early notes for WWE RAW this week. It was not “looked approved” yet, so it’s unknown if that plan will remain part of the show this week.

Thats only early draft. Still not looked approved.

This is very interesting, because Bianca Belair said on SmackDown that she will be the brand’s Women’s Champion upon her return. Then Michael Cole immediately backtracked on that after her pretaped message.

Vince McMahon has the power to make any changes he wants to the show, including the Draft. Although Vince McMahon’s fingerprints haven’t been apparent so far, you never know what kind of direction he might want to take things in.

We will have continued coverage of the 2023 WWE Draft here at Ringside News. Obviously, a lot of things can go down during the Draft, and a lot of Bianca Belair’s future on SmackDown might depend on whether Rhea Ripley is picked to stay on the blue brand as their Women’s Champion.

What’s your take on this possible plan for the 2023 WWE Draft? Do you think Bianca Belair is going to lose the RAW Women’s Title on her last night with the brand? Sound off in the comments!
