Keith Lee Given More Creative Freedom In AEW

Keith Lee was released by WWE, and then he sought out his own destination in the pro wrestling world after that. It didn’t take long at all for Lee to end up in AEW, and that came with few changes to his character along the way, including his look.

AEW fans are quite outspoken, and some of them don’t have the best things to say. One overly critical fan recently unloaded a bit about Keith Lee where he bashed his new white haired look.

This fan tweeted out to say, “Imma need the charisma back.” To that, Keith Lee had quite a response to shut this critical fan down.

The only thing that happened here… that was different from anything else I do, is dyed hair, I was given more freedom… and certain people trusted my view.

The rest is simply a special moment, and a couple of incredible opponents.

Tony Khan could have big things planned for Keith Lee as well. Fans seem to be behind the big man, but it might take a bit more work to elevate him to a main event level after WWE did him no favors with that Bearcat nickname.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Keith Lee. It seems that his new tag team with Dustin Rhodes might be a good start for him, and now he has Swerve Strickland’s Mogul Embassy to deal with.
